Polypropylene

Currently, the company produces polypropylene of the following grades: RPH030, RPH250, RPH350, RPH450
Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer of propylene (propene). Polypropylene is one of the most popular polymers in the world: thanks to its combination of unique properties, it is used in a wide variety of fields from construction and mechanical engineering to the food industry and medicine.
Kompaniya Neftekhim LTD LLP produces polypropylene in accordance with the National Standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan ST RK 3191-2018 “Pelletized Polypropylene. Technical Specifications":

- PPH030 (MFI 2.5-3.5 g/10 min);
- PPH 250 (MFI 20-30 g/10 min);
- PPH 350 (MFI 31-42 g/10 min);
- PPH 450 (MFI 43-53 g/10 min).

Other grades of polypropylene in accordance with the standard can be produced upon request.
Polypropylene is packed in AD*STAR valve block bottom bags of our own production, weighing 25 kg.
The bags are placed in stacks (8 rows: 1 row base – 4 bags, 7 rows – 5 bags) with a total weight of 975 kg (39 pieces * 25 kg), palletless.

Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE)
Neftekhim produces MTBE in accordance with the National Standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan ST RK 2533-2021 “Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) Additives”. Technical Specifications".
Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) is an ether class chemical. Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) is used as an oxygen-containing high-octane component in production of unleaded, environmentally friendly automobile gasolines. It has high octane numbers: 115-135 according to the research method and 98-100 according to the motor method. It dissolves well in gasoline and is not toxic.

The fuel mixture of gasoline and MTBE has the following properties:
  • anti-detonation properties of gasoline light-boiling agents are improved;
  • anti-knock resistance and stability of fuel is increased;
  • engine starting temperature is decreased;
  • toxicity of exhaust gases is decreased;
  • intensity of engine parts wear and sludge formation is decreased;
  • fuel consumption is reduced.

POLYPROPYLENE BAGS

Block bottom valve bags under Ad*Star technology are divided by purpose into bags for food and technical products, and by types:
  • type III block bottom valve type;
  • type IV with a rectangular bottom, open top and a punched handle;
  • type V with a rectangular bottom and an open top
Polypropylene (PP) bag is an industrial package made from standard polypropylene tapes woven into a durable fabric. The bags have high strength and chemical neutrality: they can withstand the heavy weight of various bulk materials. Their performance qualities are superior to paper and jute bags. Polypropylene fabric retains its strength characteristics at different temperatures, remaining a chemically neutral packaging for materials for various purposes: food products, animal feed, chemical bulk materials, fertilizers, construction bulk materials, etc.

The bags are made from woven polypropylene fabric of various densities and with different characteristics:
  • coated/uncoated;
  • micro-perforated/without perforation;
  • various additives available: UV stabilizer, antifibrillant, ink;
  • placing a logo up to 6 colors.

Neftekhim produces standard pillow sewn bags in accordance with the requirements of GOST 32522-2013 “Woven Polypropylene Bags. Technical Specifications" and block bottom valve bags under Ad*Star technology in accordance with the requirements of ST RK 3050-2017 "Polypropylene Block Bottom Valve Bags", and ST TOO 40486314-016-2024 "Polypropylene Block Bottom Bags. Technical Specifications ".

Standard sewn bags are divided by purpose into bags for food and technical products, and by types:
type I - with an open top and sewn bottom

FIBC (BIG BAG)

Neftekhim produces high-quality FIBC from textile materials for non-food products with the following characteristics:
  • mechanically strong and resistant to bending and abrasion;

  • temperature resistant from -70 to +100°C;
A flexible intermediate bulk container (Big Bag) is a durable, simple and easy-to-use, economical and popular type of packaging for industrial storage, warehousing and transportation of raw materials and bulk materials in larger volumes. FIBC has high strength and load capacity (1200 kg - 1500 kg). The design of the containers is a large durable bag made of polypropylene fabric and having special lifting elements.

EPOXY COMPOUND

EPOXY COMPOUND

Since 2023 Neftekhim has been producing chemical products "Epoxy Compound" intended for use as a binder in the production of fiberglass plastic pipes obtained by "wet" winding of glass roving impregnated with polymerization mixture on a mandrel, followed by heat treatment in a furnace. Fiberglass products are used in contact with aggressive media, hot water, oil, alkalis of any concentrations, hot salt solutions and acids, and are also used in hot and cold domestic and technical water supply systems, sewerage, land reclamation, municipal and domestic water supply. The compound is also used in the electrical and radio-electronic industries, aircraft, ship and machine building, in construction in the form of adhesives, sealants, binders for reinforced plastics.

Epoxy Compound Characteristics
Neftekhim produces epoxy compound in accordance with ST TOO 40486314-017-2023 which is a modified epoxy resin (component A) and an amine hardener (component B):
- ESN-1;
- ESN-2.
Component A is poured into 220 (two hundred and twenty) kg steel drums.
Component B is poured into steel buckets, net weight - 20 kg or into steel drums net weight - 220 (two hundred twenty) kg.
The drums and buckets are tightly closed and placed on pallets.

RECYCLED POLYPROPYLENE, CASTING, SWEEPINGS, AGGLOMERATE

Recycled polypropylene pellets are the most wear-resistant and anti-corrosion but the least dense type of plastic. Containers, canisters, as well as household products and polypropylene fiber are made from pellets.
Neftekhim produces recycled polypropylene from its own polymer production waste which is an environmentally friendly way of recycling products.

Types of Neftekhim Substandard Products:

PLANT RESEARCH LABORATORY (PRL)

Neftekhim Plant Research Laboratory carries out analytical control over technological processes and the quality of commercial products. PRL is accredited for compliance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.”
The availability of an accredited laboratory allows to conduct tests to confirm the conformity of products (certification and declaration) manufactured by Neftekhim.
PRL is equipped with unique equipment for measuring components and indicators:

Verification Laboratory

The Verification Laboratory has been operating in Neftekhim since 2016.
In 2021 the laboratory confirmed its competence during re-accreditation for compliance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025- 2019 "General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories" by the National Accreditation Center.
The accreditation of the Verification Laboratory proves its technical competence, availability of a functioning management system, proper qualification of employees and high-precision equipment.
The Verification Laboratory performs testing of pressure, thermophysical and temperature measurement instruments in the company which allows to ensure confidence in the results of measurements of process parameters and the quality of finished products.
The personnel of the Verification Laboratory constantly upgrades its qualification in the field of ensuring the uniformity of measurements to implement modern methods of verification, high-precision measurements and continuous improvement.
